In order to control costs to my clients I try to limit my work area to the Orangeville and surrounding areas including Caledon, Shelbourne, Hockley, Grand Valley and Alton. Depending on my availability and the scope of work we can have a chat and see what we can figure out.
Typically things will work out around the 40-80 dollars per hour rate depending on the work you are looking at getting done. Most typically though I try to avoid an hourly rate as my preference is to focus on quality rather than a budgeted amount of hours.
Fixed labour charges can be negotiated based on scope of work.
For materials costs we can work out a materials budget or I am open to you sourcing the materials yourself based on a Bill of Materials I can supply. We can have a discussion on what works best for you, your time and budget.
For all new clients I require 100% materials estimate up front as well as 50% labour with the balance due on completion. This is a bit flexible again depending on the scope. For larger projects I will typically break down the work into phases and charge a 50% Labour deposit per phase.
